As convenient as mobile phones have made everyone’s daily life there is one inconvenience associated with the use of these modern day wonders. There are times when you need to call someone and you find yourself asking, “How can I find someone’s cell phone number?” They could be someone you met earlier in the day, a new business contact you don’t have a phone number for, or any number of other reasons for wanting to contact them but you can’t just look them up with your local phone book.

And there in lies the problem. There is no freely available “Yellow” or “White Pages” for cellular phone, either in book form or online. Cell phone numbers for all intents and purposes are unlisted. This doesn’t mean you can’t find the number you are looking for because there are 3 good options for doing just that.

1. Use an internet search engine – Google, Yahoo, and MSN all do a good job of indexing every piece of information that exists in the public domain on the internet. If a certain piece of information, including names and phone numbers, exists on a website that is freely available it can be found. The most likely places mobile phone information would be found are online classified ads, social networking sites, and message boards. Simply type in the name of the person you are looking for along with a general location like a city or town and see what your search returns. You might get lucky.  Read more...

When doing a cell phone number reverse lookup, you’re going to need to know what to do and what to use. Especially if you want to catch a cheating spouse or a prankster without them finding out. So, what I’m going to do is share with you how to do a cell phone number reverse lookup.

That way, you can get all the information you need on any cell phone number.

The first thing you are going to need if you want to do a reverse lookup is the entire cell number. Which includes the area code. If you don’t have the entire number, you won’t be able to do the reverse lookup. However, if you do have the number, you will need to find a directory.

There are a lot of free directories, or “white pages”, that say they can help you. To be honest, they won’t be able to give you any information on a cell phone number or unlisted landline. So, what you’re going to need is a paid directory.

There’s a small fee that you will have to pay, but trust me, it’s well worth. The information you get from the paid directory is unbelievable. They will give you the name and address of the person who owns the number, their service provider, and a lot of other personal information that you will want.  Read more...

Being able to do a cell phone number reverse lookup can be helpful and come in handy.  Especially when you want to get information on a prank caller, catch a cheating spouse, or get information on an important number.

So, what I’m going to do is share with you steps on how to do a cell phone number reverse lookup.  That way, you can get all the information you need on any number that you want to look up.

Nearly everyone with a cell phone would have had this experience of someone who keeps calling you yet refuse to answer or hang up on your return calls. Be they prank callers or secret admirers, the incessant calling and non-acknowledgement begins to eat into you, and keeps you wondering who has been calling.  You are determined to get to the bottom of the matter, find out who the caller is.

You go to the internet and try to do reverse lookup by running searches in all the major search engines with the number, search in the white pages and the key social networking sites, all to no avail. You then realize that you are searching for the owner of a cell phone number, not a land line. Searching for owner identity of cell phone numbers requires you to do a reverse cell phone lookup which is essentially find an unknown cell number to trace the owner identity using an online reverse cell phone lookup service. And most authentic services are able to run searches with good results by a few clicks of the mouse.

Be forewarned that there are many so called free reverse lookup directories and some claim to be free. To save you time and angst, steer clear of the free ones, as no cell phone lookup services are free. Free directories either contain merely land line details which are public domain you could easily find by going to white pages in any case, or most information are outdated. Telecommunication companies guard their client database very tightly and the true reverse lookup services pay a sum of money access to the database.
